This piece captures that fleeting illumination: not just as a visual metaphor, but as an emotional language. Through total internal reflection, light bends back into its medium — much like memory or identity — allowing materials and meanings to interlace, inhale, and exhale as one.

The warmth and resilience of nature are echoed in contrasting materials: wood offers a quiet, grounded tenderness, while glass speaks of transparency, fragility, and strength. A muted green glass casts long, shifting shadows — like silhouettes dancing in the dark, gently dissolving into space.
This work was honored with selection for the 2024 Florence Biennale, one of Italy’s three major art exhibitions alongside the Venice Biennale and Milan Triennale.
